I opted to train with Faith Emmanuel given the positive reviews of his coaching instead since June 2024 after an incredibly poor experience with another ‘coach’ at GJBC, and it has been the best experience I have had at a gym.
Faith is an experienced professional in what he does and has amazing people skills while at it. He has curated a workout program that is specific to my needs, while taking safety and my limitations into consideration. I found myself stronger as time passes and my knowledge in strength training increasing, leading to more confidence in attempting new exercises.
Overall, I have been very pleased with the outcome of training under Faith and GJBC is lucky to have him onboard.
At the same time, GJBC is an incredible place to train in, with bursting colours of its interior, sanitation and ventilation as its top priority and a good vibe all around. Many thanks for the positive experience as yet!

I’ve been training with Faith for over five years, and it’s been an incredibly positive experience. Faith is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to understand what works best for me, especially since I have scoliosis. He always recommends exercises that are suitable for my condition and adjusts workouts based on my abilities.
What I really appreciate is how he makes every session fun and engaging—training with him never feels daunting or intimidating. Faith is not only professional but also genuinely friendly and funny, which keeps me motivated throughout each session.
Most importantly, he listens. He never pushes me beyond my limits and always makes sure the workouts are aligned with my needs. I’m truly grateful for his support, guidance, and encouragement over the years.

Good Juju Barbell Club is hands down the best gym I’ve trained at. The coaches are incredibly skilled and truly know how to help you improve, no matter your level. The vibe here is always positive, and the staff is super friendly and supportive.
The gym itself is clean, well-maintained, and has everything you need for serious training. But what I appreciate the most is how they help me stay focused on my goals. Whether you’re lifting for strength, performance, or just overall fitness, this is the perfect place to train. Highly recommend!

They are exactly as what their name stands for - Good Juju!
I’ve been training there for over a year and have no regrets! I am so happy with my progress so far and everyone is so approachable I’ve never felt embarrassed asking for help if needed.
I’ve also had physiotherapy treatments there and have been very impressed with their professionalism - they really know their stuff!
I also love that they have their own cafe that serves reaaalllyy good coffee because let’s face it - we need our caffeine to fuel our workouts.
There’s just a very positive atmosphere in the gym that makes you feel comfortable about yourself so you keep going back for more! But don’t take my word for it. Try a group class, have a coffee or simply tour the gym and you’ll know what I mean!

The "One More Rep" class is a great full body strength endurance workout! Carin's class structure ensured that we maximized our work out time with sufficient rest between stations. She provided helpful cues on proper form and technique while encouraging us to push out One More Rep. Every movement is tailored to all levels and you can choose how heavy you want to go. GJBC was very welcoming to first time visitors, showing us the cool retro gym space and facilities. Highly recommend GJBC and I cannot wait to return!
