Been in this gym almost 1year ++. My honest feedback the gym need to improve. They have foreigners as customers service and this guy depends on the management for any maintenance of the equipment. Most of the equipment was not maintained. They don’t have any spare parts to replace immediate and we have to wait months to get the machine back. One of my friend get injured because of this ant sentosa cobra and the gym not take any responsibility on this.
Feel very sad and even I want to talk to the manager about this I not able to get his contact and the message is automated by voice assistant.
Some renovations going on now and the sad part is they did the renovation while we all work out there at the same place. With the paint smell and all the parts everywhere the gym looks like after night market.
Appreciate management of cobra look into this asap.
I cancel my auto monthly subscription few month back and they still not cancel it and keep saying system issue.
The final call I will launch complaint to consumer department if this not resolved .

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at the Cobra Gym Bukit Tinggi branch. I would like to highlight a few serious issues:
Poor Communication at Front Desk
The front desk staff can barely communicate in either Malay or English, making it extremely difficult to ask for assistance or explain any issues. This is unacceptable for a customer-facing role.
Lost Gym Card Incident (6/5)
On 6th May, I placed my gym card on top of the card switch device as a backup in case the card already inserted was removed. Unfortunately, someone mistakenly took my card.
When I approached the front desk for help, the staff could not understand me at all. Thankfully, another gym-goer who spoke Tamil helped translate.
Lack of Accountability
The front desk staff asked me to leave and assured me they would review the CCTV footage and contact me if they found the card.
No Follow-up and Irresponsible Attitude (13/5)
I returned on 13th May after giving them a week to investigate. The staff told me the card could not be found and that they couldn't identify the person in the CCTV.
I find this hard to believe, as there were only 4–5 people in the gym during that time, and only 2–3 people left when I was about to leave. If they had properly checked the CCTV or gym access logs, it shouldn't have been difficult to identify who took the card.
Instead, they showed no initiative and simply told me to buy a new card, saying it wasn’t their fault.
Poor Gym Environment and Maintenance
Aside from this incident, the gym is poorly maintained. The equipment, especially dumbbells, are never placed in the correct order. The gym is not clean, and the recent renovations have made it difficult to work out comfortably.
This experience was frustrating and disappointing. The lack of professionalism, responsibility, and basic communication from the staff shows poor management. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit to Cobra Gym.
Please avoid this gym at all cost.

Keep auto debit my card even if I’ve stop the membership, understand notice period is 1 month, but it keep deducting my balance after I cancelled it 2 months ago.
WA only got auto reply msg, not resolve any issue at all.
Even if I came to the branch now which is within the staff hrs also don’t have any staff to attend my matter.
PLS CAME OUT TO SOLVE MY MATTER URGENTLY!!!!!

I am relatively a new client to this gym. I have been to various gyms within 10km radius from this gym and I would like to highlight a few things. Firstly, the positives: Time flexibility, location and fee. These are excellent qualities if this gym.
Apart from them, this gym really requires a major “overhaul”. Do take note that competitor gyms have upgraded their facilities with newer and more safety savvy equipments. These upgrades in those gyms come with remained fees (no changes in subscription and fees). The goal of these gyms is to reduce injuries caused by obsolete machines in the long run.
Another issue that needs highlighting is the maintenance of equipment. Existing equipments that are not obsolete requires proper timely maintenance. Replacing parts as times may not work for these machines rather a change of whole equipment may be required.
I pity the employees at this gym whose hands are tied up due to limited support from HQ in gym maintenance and/or enhancement.
I believe the management understands that fitness industry is ever evolving. Hence, to keep up with its competitors, it should be up to par if not exceedingly well.
Please do not take this review as a complaint. This is rather an observation from a person who has been in fitness training for good number of years. Hope this review opens the opportunity to discuss on the betterment of the gym.

For customer service on the phone, I would rate 0 if there is an option. Very ineffective, keep asking you to whatsapp and you are talking to a bot FOREVER. Never to the right person who can solve the issue, next option is only email, or else, you will have to travel all the way to the gym to find someone to help, and even so, there might not be anyone there during working hours (speak from real experience).
No comment on equipment, you get what pay for. but the customer service is way too terrible. Will never reconsider this gym again.

Been visiting the gym for the past month.The equipment and facilities are not well maintained which creates an unpleasant experience each time you visit the gym. The wires meant to carry the weights have started to give way, leather from the seat of some of equipment have started to peel off. And worst experience is to see the urinals not functioning and sealed with masking tape. Theres no drinking water available. Coway or Cuckoo filters are not expensive and would be ideal to be placed for the guests to quench their thirst after workout.
To the gym owners, its high time to work on the solutions to solve the issues at the Bukit Tinggi gym. The maintenance of the facilities and equipment should be the core focus of your business to sustain long term.My suggestion would be start on replacing the equipment and keep the facilities clean so guests would have a better experience overall.
