    A masterclass in confusion and rigidity — Power Training edition

    Thinking of signing up with Power Training? Here’s a little heads up:

    I asked to switch trainers, but guess what? They magically gave me the same one anyway. No explanations, no follow-up. Apparently, requests are optional here.

    Then the trainer insisted I pick a fixed weekly time and stick to it, no changes allowed. Because who needs flexibility when you’re a working professional with a real, unpredictable schedule? “train once a week,” he said, genius advice if your goal is to NOT get fit.

    Now, the cancellation policy is the real comedy:

    - Trainer says cancel within 24 hours and forfeit your session
    - Customer service says, oh no, we might waive it if it’s a “justified reason” but good luck getting a straight answer on what counts.
    - Manager chimes in: “Nah, 2–3 hours’ notice won’t count as forfeiture.” So which one is it? Pick your own policy, apparently.

    So if you like rigid schedules, confusing rules, and zero transparency, this place is perfect. If you’re human with an unpredictable life, maybe look elsewhere.

    Power Training: where your time doesn’t really matter, but policies sure do... sort of.
